We love canvas. Our totes are made with heavy-duty versions of this cotton fabric. The natural (white) colored canvas we use is a beefy 20 oz., raw canvas that literally allows the bags to stand up on their own. Our colored canvas weighs in at 18 ounces, which are still beefy. Our colored canvas is also treated with a water repellant to provide extra defense in rain and snow. Sourced in the USA.

We’re a canvas company, but we also love us some great leather! The elegant chromed-die black leather that we use is a 5oz weight - plus it is waterproof. Thank you Oregon Leather for helping find this amazing hide for our canvas totes.

We like it raw and rugged. You won’t find any synthetic liners on the inside, but instead you will see the bones of our craft exposed in each canvas tote bag.

We make our tote bags one at a time here in our our modest sized shop. We hand cut the canvas, leather and webbing and then carefully sew them together on our industrial machines. We don’t have any fancy technology that helps through the process. Each bag is then inspected before we hand them off to you!

We don’t make those free totes you find given away at a fair. Our canvas totes won’t burst at the seams in a few years when you walk from your car to your home with your wine and laptop. Simply peek inside our totes and you’ll see the craftsmanship care we take to stitch the hefty canvas.

CANVAS TOTE CARE
We make our totes tough - but the one thing that they likely won’t hold up well to is a washing machine - the colors may bleed. So only spot clean your totes and duffels with water and a mild soap. We also recommend drying the canvas bags flat to avoid crease lines from color bleeding.
WILL YOU CUSTOMIZE A TOTE FOR ME?
We are happy to make small modifications to our existing line of canvas totes for a small fee. However we likely don’t have the bandwidth to create a bag or tote from scratch. Feel free to ask though. Note that all customizations take a little bit longer to create.
DO YOU ACCEPT BULK ORDERS?
We’d love to consider a bulk order of our totes. Just note that we specialize in small batch manufacturing, so won’t be able to “quickly” turn around such orders. Reach out if you have a special need that you’d like us to consider.
IS YOUR CANVAS WAXED?
Our totes are not made with waxed canvas. The colored canvas contains a water-resistant agent and our natural canvas is untreated.
