However, canvas, leather, metal hardware, thread, wood, and other natural or manufactured materials may vary in color, texture, weight, finish, and appearance. Computer monitors and device screens may also display colors differently.

Because many Beckel Canvas products are sewn, finished, repaired, or assembled by hand, small variations may occur. These variations are part of the nature of handmade and small-batch canvas products.

We do not guarantee that your device’s display of any color, texture, or finish will be accurate.

## Section 6 - Outdoor Use, Product Care, and Customer Responsibility

Beckel Canvas products are designed for real outdoor use, but they still require reasonable care, setup, storage, and maintenance.

Tents, bags, tarps, covers, and canvas products may be affected by weather, moisture, mildew, UV exposure, wind, snow load, abrasion, improper setup, improper storage, animals, fire, sparks, chemicals, neglect, or long-term exposure to the elements.

You are responsible for properly setting up, using, drying, cleaning, storing, and maintaining your product. Wet canvas should not be stored packed away. Failure to properly care for canvas products may result in mildew, staining, odor, fabric damage, shrinkage, or other issues.

We are not responsible for damage caused by improper use, improper setup, improper storage, neglect, extreme weather, modifications, accidents, normal wear and tear, or failure to follow reasonable care instructions.

## Section 7 - Orders, Billing, and Account Information

We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any order you place with us.

These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, same payment method, same billing address, same shipping address, or orders that appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, distributors, or automated systems.

If we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you using the email address, billing address, phone number, or other contact information provided at the time of purchase.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made through our website or directly with us.

Many Beckel Canvas products are made to order or customized for the customer. Made-to-order tents, custom products, modified products, and certain special-order items may not be eligible for return or exchange.

Unused standard items, such as certain bags, bedrolls, and other non-custom products, may be eligible for return or exchange according to our posted return policy.

Return shipping is generally the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing. Original shipping costs may not be refundable. A restocking fee may apply if a returned item cannot be resold as new.

Please contact us before sending or dropping off any return, exchange, repair, or warranty item.

Repairs and custom projects may require longer lead times and are accepted at our discretion based on availability, condition of the item, and whether we are able to perform the requested work.

We may offer repair, alteration, or custom canvas work on a case-by-case basis.

Estimates for repairs or custom work are not final until we review the item, confirm the scope of work, and agree to proceed.

Repair timelines are estimates only and may vary based on workload, material availability, seasonality, complexity, and the condition of the item.

Items brought in for repair must be clean, dry, shaken out, and reasonably ready for handling. We may decline wet, oily, moldy, heavily soiled, unsafe, or unsuitable items, or we may charge additional cleaning or handling fees.

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden damage, fabric weakness, age-related deterioration, mildew, odor, staining, shrinkage, prior repairs, or material failure discovered during repair work.

We may provide access to third-party tools, payment processors, shipping services, financing options, analytics tools, website features, or other services over which we do not have full control.

Both you and Beckel Canvas agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve any dispute informally by email before either party begins a formal legal proceeding.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may bring an eligible claim in small claims court.

For disputes that cannot be resolved informally or in small claims court, the parties agree to first consider the least formal, lowest-cost dispute resolution method reasonably available, including mediation, written submissions, remote proceedings, or other streamlined procedures when permitted by applicable law and agreed to by the parties.

If binding arbitration is required or mutually agreed upon, the arbitration shall be administered by the American Arbitration Association, also known as AAA, under its applicable rules, unless the parties agree in writing to use another neutral arbitration provider or a lower-cost arbitration process.

The arbitration shall take place in Oregon unless applicable law requires otherwise or the parties agree to a remote, written, or electronic proceeding.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, disputes shall be handled on an individual basis and not as part of a class action, consolidated action, private attorney general action, or other representative proceeding.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking temporary or emergency relief from a court when necessary, or from bringing an eligible claim in small claims court.

Except as otherwise prohibited by law, any claim or dispute must be brought within one year from the date the cause of action arises.
