A kid-sized canvas bedroll and sleeping bag cover, handmade in Oregon for camping, summer camp, sleepovers, and nights under the stars.

Built for younger campers, the Beckel Junior Canvas Bedroll gives kids their own properly sized version of our classic canvas bedroll.

At 73" long and 34" wide when zipped, it has room for a sleeping bag, blankets, or camping pad without all the extra bulk of an adult-size bedroll.

A heavy-duty #10 YKK zipper makes it easy to get in and out, and the bedroll can unzip completely to lay flat for use as an extra canvas layer beneath bedding or gear.

At the head of the bedroll is a built-in pillow sleeve. Tuck in a regular pillow, or stuff the sleeve with clothing, a jacket, or other soft gear to create a simple camp pillow without bringing one separately.

The Junior is made from 10.1 oz Sunforger-treated cotton canvas, a durable and breathable fabric treated for water and mildew resistance. It helps protect bedding from dirt, damp ground, dew, sparks, and everyday camp wear while remaining lighter and more packable than many traditional cowboy bedrolls.

Each Junior Canvas Bedroll is cut and sewn in our Milwaukie, Oregon shop using the same materials and construction approach as our full-size Beckel bedrolls.

Canvas creates a tough, breathable outer layer around a sleeping bag or camp bedding. It helps protect against dirt, damp ground, sparks, and the general abuse that comes with camping.

Unlike a fully waterproof synthetic cover, breathable cotton canvas allows moisture vapor to escape while developing character with use.
